John David Crow - Halfback (1955-1957) John David Crow is widely considered to be the greatest player in Texas A&M football history. He won the Heisman Trophy in 1957 and was a two-time All-American. Crow rushed for over 1,000 yards in each of his three seasons at Texas A&M and helped lead the team to a national championship in 1956.
Von Miller - Linebacker (2007-2010) Von Miller is one of the most dominant defensive players in Texas A&M history. He was a two-time All-American and won the Butkus Award as the nation's top linebacker in 2010. Miller was drafted second overall by the Denver Broncos in the 2011 NFL Draft and has since become one of the best pass rushers in the NFL.
Dat Nguyen - Linebacker (1995-1998) Dat Nguyen was a dominant linebacker for the Aggies in the late 1990s. He was a consensus All-American in 1998 and won the Bednarik Award as the nation's top defensive player. Nguyen finished his career at Texas A&M with 517 tackles, the most in school history.
Johnny Manziel - Quarterback (2011-2013) Johnny Manziel, also known as "Johnny Football," had one of the most electrifying college football careers in recent memory. He won the Heisman Trophy in 2012 and was a consensus All-American. Manziel was known for his ability to make plays with his legs and his arm and helped lead the Aggies to a win over Alabama in 2012.
Luke Joeckel - Offensive Tackle (2010-2012) Luke Joeckel was a dominant offensive tackle for the Aggies and was a consensus All-American in 2012. He was drafted second overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2013 NFL Draft and has since become one of the best tackles in the NFL.
Dave Elmendorf - Defensive Back (1968-1970) Dave Elmendorf was a dominant defensive back for the Aggies in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He was a two-time All-American and helped lead the team to a Southwest Conference championship in 1967. Elmendorf went on to have a successful career in the NFL, playing for the Los Angeles Rams.
Davey O'Brien - Quarterback (1936-1938) Davey O'Brien was one of the greatest quarterbacks in college football history. He won the Heisman Trophy in 1938 and was a consensus All-American. O'Brien set numerous passing records during his time at Texas A&M and helped lead the team to a Southwest Conference championship in 1939.
Shane Lechler - Punter (1996-1999) Shane Lechler is one of the greatest punters in college football history. He was a two-time All-American and won the Ray Guy Award as the nation's top punter in 1998 and 1999. Lechler went on to have a successful career in the NFL, playing for the Oakland Raiders and Houston Texans.
